It is a good idea to check the credentials of doctor on IDFPR (Illinois Department of Professional Regulation ) site. As I was looking for a new gyn I also checked Dr Bajaj's profile.
And sure enough I see a settlement. Not unexpected, only thing is that I went here a little too late.
I again urge you to stay away from this doctor. My son is 14 months and yet not a night passes when I dont get nighmares about the hospital. The said mentioned claimant is one, I am the second, Do you want you or your wife to be the third??. Choice is yours

Thanks Prachi for coming out in the open and putting in a detailed account of your experiences. It has certainly helped me a lot and as a first time parent with a normally progressing pregnancy, I'm thankful I read your blog. I was also inkling to go with an Indian doctor but have decided to choose the best doctor irrespective of race/color/origin. It was heart wrenching to read about your birthing experience. What was supposed to be a beautiful experience turned out to be a nightmare. I do hope you consider using an attorney and file for damages, you should not give up easy. It's not to late to hold those responsible for your nightmare to be accountable.
